Walther BNK 6 Survival knife

High-quality stainless steel

The knife is made of the popular stainless steel 440C, hardened to 57-59 HRC. Thanks to the increased carbon content, the steel is wear-resistant, retains its sharpness for a long time and can be sharpened relatively quickly and easily, which is important for a field knife. The blade has a titanium protective coating that provides additional protection against corrosion and contrasts nicely with the wooden scales.

Full tang design

The Walther BNK 6 has a full tang design. This term refers to knives whose blade and handle shank are made of one piece of steel. Knives with this design are characterized by high durability and resistance to damage, which is why they are usually used for heavy work by survival enthusiasts, bushcraft enthusiasts, soldiers and hunters.

Knife equipped with a universal blade

The knife has a 4 mm blade with a drop-point profile, a flat grind and a clearly rounded cutting edge. This combination guarantees a smooth and easy cut, high durability and versatility.

The back of the knife has been milled crosswise to allow the user to rest their thumb on it while working (thumb ramp).

Stylish handle

The knife has elegant Pakkawood black composite covers, attached to the handle with two screws. Pakkawood is a durable laminate made of wood that is impregnated with phenolic thermosetting resins. The handle has a profiled shape with a distinct finger groove, which guarantees a stable grip and comfortable use. The hole at the back of the shaft can be used to attach a decorative braid or safety cord. The traditional leather sheath with belt loop is used to safely carry the knife.
