The Benchmade 533BK-1 Mini Bugout is a smaller version of the Bugout, a folding knife for everyday use, which has conquered the EDC knife market with its lightweight, highly functional design.
The knife has a utility blade with a drop point profile made of CPM-S30V stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC.
The 72 mm blade is the perfect size and functionality for everyday tasks. The CPM-S30V powder steel is characterized by high hardness and resistance to damage, which ensures optimal sharpness for a long time. The blade is completely covered with a black coating that protects the blade from scratches and corrosion.
The blade can be easily opened with one hand thanks to the double-sided pin, making the knife comfortable for both right- and left-handed users. Phosphor bronze washers are used on the blade axis, making the blade open very smoothly and easily.
The blade lock is, of course, the Axis Lock, Benchmade's flagship mechanism, valued for its high load resistance, insensitivity to dirt and ease of use.
Thanks to the Grivory plastic liners, the design of the knife is extremely light. The knife weighs only 42.5 g and is so light that you almost forget you have it in your pocket. The white liners contrast effectively with the black blade, clip and screws.
The gently contoured liners with a non-slip texture ensure a secure grip. Thanks to the low profile of the liners and the small size when folded (94 mm), the Mini Bugout is so comfortable to carry around every day that you might forget it is in your pocket.
The compact clip with an option to switch (left/right) allows you to carry the knife in your pocket in a very discreet and inconspicuous way. There is also a hole in the handle for attaching a paracord cord or braid. The Benchmade 533BK-1 Mini Bugout is a very light and handy EDC knife that is sure to conquer the compact folder market.
