The Walther SOK 2 is a spring knife for everyday use, featuring a 440C stainless steel blade, a lightweight polymer handle and a proven back-lock mechanism. The Walther SOK 2 was designed as a lightweight EDC tool that is quick to access, safe to use and comfortable to carry.
The blade is made of the popular 440C stainless steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC. Thanks to the increased carbon content, the steel is wear-resistant, retains its sharpness for a long time and can be sharpened relatively quickly and easily. This is particularly important for inexperienced knife sharpeners. The satin finish (polishing method) gives the knife a discreet elegance.
The knife has a slim blade (84 mm) with a practical drop point profile, a flat grind and a slightly rounded cutting edge. This combination guarantees smooth and easy cutting, high durability and versatility.
The blade is opened by pressing the enlarged button on the handle. Thanks to the spring-assisted opening, the blade is opened in a flash, making the knife ready to use in the blink of an eye. The blade is locked with a spring (on the spine) which is released with a side lever attached to the pivot pin. The knife has an additional back lock which allows the unfolding mechanism to be locked, ensuring that the knife can be safely carried in a pocket.
Walther SOK 2 has light polymer linings, whose non-slip texture increases the knife's grip on the hand. Everyday carrying of the knife on the belt is facilitated by a sheath made of nylon, a fabric resistant to abrasion, moisture and mold
