The Joker Sumatra JKR713 is a machete based on the Nepalese kukri knife used by the warrior Gurkha people.
The kukri-type machete has a relatively short, strongly widened blade made of 3CR13Mov stainless steel, which generates a lot of kinetic energy when chopping.
Thanks to this design, the kukri is an extremely effective tool for heavy work. The curved blade has a strongly curved belly and a forward center of gravity. This results in excellent cutting properties as well as easy and efficient cutting that does not require much force.
The flat grind is durable and has good cutting properties, and does not get stuck in the material when chopping and cutting. Joker Sumatra is perfect for chopping wood, pruning branches and anywhere else you need a sturdy yet handy tool.
The profiled handle made of soft rubber ensures a comfortable grip and a stable hold. This grip provides excellent traction and effectively dampens vibrations when chopping, which of course has a significant impact on the comfort of work. The enlarged crossguard and finger cutout protect the hand from sliding onto the blade.
The end of the handle has a hole for a strap or safety cord. A nylon sheath with a press stud fastener is used to safely carry the machete on the belt. The ballistic nylon used is resistant to moisture, mold and mechanical damage.
The Joker Sumatra machete is the perfect solution for those looking for a smaller tool with high performance.
