Lansky Quick Fix LCSTC Knife sharpener

The Lansky Quick Fix LCSTC-CG is a compact fixed-angle sharpener designed for quick knife sharpening in the field.

No matter what steel our knife is made of, it will lose its sharpness at some point and require sharpening. This is best done at home, but if your knife gets dull in the field, it's good to be prepared.

This was the idea behind the Lansky Quick Fix LCSTC sharpener, which is a lightweight, compact whetstone for hiking and outdoor use.

The sharpener has a polymer body and a rubber insert for a stable grip. Two abrasive surfaces are used for sharpening: ceramic rods with a fine gradation for smoothing the blade and tungsten carbide rods with a coarse gradation for working sharpness.

Sharpening itself is extremely simple, requiring only pulling the blade through the slots of the whetstone until the desired sharpness is achieved. The rods have a fixed angle of 22.5°.

The Lansky Quick Fix LCSTC-CG is suitable for sharpening various types of knives: EDC, outdoor, hunting, as well as tools such as machetes, scissors, etc.
