With the Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition Mk.2 electric sharpener, we can use exactly the same technology in our home and workshop and make sure that our knives and tools are perfectly sharp at all times. No other method and technique allows you to sharpen a knife to such a sharpness so quickly and precisely.

An extremely useful feature is the ability to adjust the motor speed and electronic speed control. This facilitates full control over the blade at every stage of sharpening and ensures optimal belt speed in relation to the task at hand, from grinding and deburring to smoothing and polishing.

The flexible, wide abrasive belts (19 x 305 mm) play a key role in the sharpening process, sharpening virtually any shape and type of blade at a constant angle.

During the sharpening process, the knife is pulled along a guide whose inclination can be adjusted from 15° to 30°, thus enabling sharpening at a selected (fixed) angle that best suits our needs.

The attachment is characterized by a solid polymer-metal construction, resistant to overloads arising during sharpening and shaping of the blade. The attachment connects to the sharpener without the need for tools. Replacing the abrasive belts is also a simple and quick task that we can do by ourselves.

Precise adjustment range in the Ken Onion Blade Grinding Attachment

The attachment can be used with various grades of abrasive belts measuring 25.4 x 457 mm. The tension of the belt is controlled by a system of 4 rollers, adjustable from 10° to 35° (with an accuracy of 1°).

The belt speed can be set between 1200 and 2800 SFM (square feet per minute), depending on the task at hand. The position of the central transport roller can be easily adjusted without tools, allowing the tension (height) of the abrasive belt to be adjusted depending on the type of knife grinding, for example.

The Work Sharp grinding attachment allows for precise, two-handed operation and full visibility of the process, resulting in quick and easy results.
