The Work Sharp Benchstone is a diamond and ceramic sharpener equipped with replaceable angle guides and an innovative Pivot-Response system that increases sharpening efficiency.

The perfect diamond and ceramic duo

The Work Sharp Benchstone is a handy table-top sharpener with a rotating block with 3 sharpening surfaces. The block is mounted on a polymer base with non-slip feet and replaceable angle guides.

The user can choose between medium and fine diamond plates and a fine-grained ceramic stone for final polishing.

Diamond plates (medium and fine) allow you to quickly restore the sharpness of dull edges, and can also be used for quick re-sharpening.

Fine-grit ceramic stone perfectly complements the diamonds, as it allows you to polish the edge and give it the sharpness of a proverbial razor.

Interchangeable angle guides

The Work Sharp Benchstone sharpener is equipped with angle guides (attached with magnets) with an inclination of 20° and 25°. When the knife blade is placed against the guide, it is sufficient to draw the blade evenly across the sharpening plate at a constant angle.

This simple and practical aid makes free-hand sharpening a breeze in no time. The predefined angles of 20° and 25° are designed for folding knives, EDC folders and outdoor knives.

After removing the guides, you can of course sharpen at a different angle of your choice.

Pivot Response System

The sharpener also uses a system developed by Work Sharp, which guarantees full sharpening from the base to the tip of the blade. This is all thanks to the movable sharpening block, which changes its angle under the pressure of the knife and “adapts” to the shape of the blade.

The block can be locked in place, creating a flat, fixed surface for sharpening straight or curved blades (without changing the position of the blade).

For beginners, we recommend using the movable sharpening platform, which does the hard work for you.
