Reliable full-tang design

The Walther Premium Skinner is a full tang knife. This term describes knives whose blade and handle are made of one piece of steel. Knives with this design are highly resistant to damage, which is why they are used for outdoor work by survival enthusiasts, bushcrafters, soldiers and hunters.

440C stainless steel

The knife blade is made of the popular 440C stainless steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. Thanks to the increased carbon content, the steel is wear-resistant, retains its sharpness for a long time and can be sharpened relatively quickly and easily, which is important for a field knife. The blade has been finished using the classic satin finish (polishing) technique, giving the knife an elegant appearance.

Skinning blade

The wide blade with a flat grind has a distinctly rounded belly, which, in combination with the drop point profile, ensures excellent cutting performance and high stress resistance. There is a transverse milling on the back and front of the spine, which creates a stable support point for the fingers. This popular feature allows for comfortable and precise knife handling, which is crucial for the hunter when butchering game. The massive 3.8 mm thick blade has a flat back, so it can be used for heavier field work, e.g. chopping wood or lighting a fire with a flint.

Traditional handle

The knife has a stylish handle consisting of a profiled lining made of oiled walnut wood, a polished cross-guard, brass spacers and steel fittings, which, together with the cross-guard, improve the grip and prevent the knife from slipping out of the hand. The knife is carried in a leather sheath with a metal clasp.
