Renowned Czech brand producing a wide range of knives (Mikov) and office equipment (RON). The brand is proud of its roots in reliable craftsmanship, and traditions and knowledge of craftsmanship are extremely important to it. Mikov has hundreds of years of experience in the production of small industrial goods and knives. The first manufactory (predecessor of today's factories) was founded in Mikulášovice by Ignaz Rösler in 1794 and produced knives, files, sickles, scythes and other tools. The economic success of the manufactory led to the establishment of numerous craft businesses with similar activities in other cities throughout the country.

In 1955, the local factories were reorganized and merged into a single national company called “Mikulásovický Kovoprumysl”. This name was later shortened to Mikov, and thus the brand was born in its present form. Today, the brand's products are distributed all over the world. The brand's knives are made with great care from the highest quality materials, making them strong and durable, and ensuring maximum precision and comfort of use.
