Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition Sharpening liner

The grinding attachment is designed for shaping, grinding and polishing the blade. It fits Work Sharp WSKTS and Ken Onion Edition electric sharpeners.

The attachment features a sturdy polymer-metal construction to withstand the stresses of grinding and shaping the blade. The attachment connects to the sharpener without the need for tools. Replacing the abrasive belts is also a simple and quick operation that we can do ourselves.

The attachment can use various gradations of abrasive belts with a size of 25.4 x 457 mm. Belt tension is controlled through a system of 4 rollers, adjustable from 10 ° to 35 ° (with an accuracy of 1 °).

The speed of the belt, depending on the type of operation to be performed, can be set between 1200-2800 SFM (square feet per minute). The position of the central transport roller can be changed, allowing us to adjust the tension (height) of the abrasive belt depending on the type of knife grind, for example.

The Blade Grinding Attachment enhances the already high functionality of the Ken Onion Edition sharpener, allowing additional grinding, blade re-profiling and polishing, without the need to purchase an additional, expensive device.
